Whether you're into art, theater, nature, or history, Fargo can offer you some of the best memories you'll ever have. All you have to do is make the drive!

Fargo Air Museum

Blue skies are always in view in Fargo no matter the season, so it only makes sense the premier flying museum of the Upper Midwest can be found here. With a large collection of historical, flyable airplanes, including the P-51 Mustang, TBM Avenger, Corsair, Pitts Special, and Wright Flyer Replica, aviation and history buffs will be right at home. Other exhibits include the History of the North Dakota Flying Aces, the Air National Guard, cloud modification, and more. There's also historical military displays from every major war going back to World War II!

Fargo Theatre

Built in 1926 and still boasting the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ, many stars, from Babe Ruth to Tom Mix, have made their way to the stage. With a classic art design that was restored and renovated in 1999, the theatre now operates 364 days a year. Featuring the best of independent and art films, events include the weekend Midnight Movie Series, Classic Film Series, and Silent Movie Nights. The theatre also hosts plenty of live events, from guest speakers to concerts. With a grand total of 870 seats and a statue commemorating Fargo, the Academy Award winning film, there's plenty to see here!

Red River Zoo

Enough about art and museums! If you're more into nature, your first stop should be the zoo. Featuring more than 300 animals from 75 species including endangered ones, kids and adults alike will enjoy the sights. Be sure to ride the 1928 antique Diederich Family Carousel and stop for a souvenir at the gift shop!
