Highlighting the Differences Between the Trim Levels of the 2019 Ram 1500
Every 2019 Ram 1500 model impresses many of the drivers that visit our car lot, and it's easy to see why. Capability, convenience, and style ooze out of every one thanks to the potent powertrains, technology, roomy cabins, and smart accents inside and out, but, with six unique trim levels and a variety of cab and bed sizes, which of these models is right for you?
We know drivers around Moorhead love to do their research before purchasing a new vehicle, which is why we've highlighted what separates these trims from each other, so you have an easier time finding the best truck for your needs, wants, and budget.
Cab, Bed, and Engine Options
We'll start by discussing the different dimension and powertrain options available. At the moment, there's a Quad Cab and a Crew Cab, and both have four doors and two rows of seats, but the Crew Cab is the more spacious of the two, which is great for larger West Fargo work crews. The Quad Cab comes with a 6-foot 4-inch bed while the Crew Cab gives you a choice between that bed or a shorter 5-foot 7-inch bed.
There are then three engines to choose from, a V6 and two V8s. The 3.6-liter V6 engine with eTorque, while having less power than the V8 engines, is still plenty capable and is the most efficient of the bunch. The two 5.7-liter V8 engines are actually the same, but one comes with the eTorque system while the other does not. Whichever engine, cab, and bed combo you pick, you'll get a truck that can do it all.
